Here\u2019s the quick version of how everything works from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, you reserve your whole or half hog by placing a deposit. You can do this anytime during the season. For <strong>2026<\/strong> animals, deposits close on <strong>9\/28\/2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Second, after your deposit is processed electronically, we\u2019ll send you a cutsheet so you can choose how you want your pork prepared. If that feels overwhelming, don\u2019t worry: we offer a guided cutsheet that walks you through the choices based on how you cook, and you\u2019re always welcome to reach out. We\u2019re more than happy to talk things through or hop on a call, too. Cutsheets for the 2026 season are due <strong>September 25<\/strong>, so you\u2019ll have time to think it over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Third, about one to two months before pickup, we\u2019ll send out a quick survey to figure out which pickup day and time works best for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fourth, once the locker sends us the hanging weights, we\u2019ll email your final invoice for the remaining balance of the hog and the processing bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, within one month of the processing date, we\u2019ll meet you at one of our drop\u2011off locations: Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls, Dubuque, Iowa City, or Eagan (MN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s the whole process! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whole\/Half Animal Shares Thanks for taking a look!
